Kwantis and ID3 Rebrand with a Unified Identity
Kwantis and ID3, with the support of Habits Design Studio, have updated their visual identity as part of a broader effort to better reflect the integration between the two brands and the focus of their combined expertise.
Updated Brand Identity
The Kwantis and ID3 logos have been redesigned to reinforce this alignment and create a more consistent representation across products and platforms.
As part of this evolution, the ID3 Suite has also been reorganized. The new structure introduces a simplified product offering that reflects the dependencies between modules. For example, certain functionalities are now positioned as extensions rather than standalone products, such as Carbon Footprint, which depends on Benchmark capabilities.
Enhanced ID3 Suite Built on Three Core Modules
The restructured suite is now organized into three main modules:
ID3 Benchmark consolidates rig sensor data with daily drilling reports to provide a unified view of drilling and completion performance. The platform enables structured KPI benchmarking, integrated target management, advanced filtering by operational parameters, and customizable dashboards for fleet-level monitoring.
With the built-in AI Assistant, users can perform benchmark comparisons, investigate NPT root causes, analyze ROP and connection efficiency, and quantify performance gaps versus top-performing wells.
Extensions to ID3 Benchmark include:
- Carbon Footprint: A module for analyzing and mitigating carbon emissions associated with drilling operations. It provides insights into operational emissions and supports the development of targeted reduction strategies.
- Data Quality: A module that processes high-frequency sensor data to detect anomalies early and ensure reliable inputs for analysis.
- Prediction: A tool for applying AI models to both high-frequency and low-frequency data, supporting use cases such as predicting potential wellbore issues and performing QA/QC on incoming data.
ID3 Reporting provides a system for monitoring well execution through a range of structured daily reports, including DDR, HSE reports, and BHA assembly reports. The solution is accessible from both rig sites and headquarters and supports automated calculation of key metrics using real-time rig sensor data. The module is designed for customization to meet specific client requirements and can be integrated with other ID3 solutions to enhance functionality.
Extension to ID3 Reporting includes:
- Lookahead supports well planning and execution control by digitizing the initial well plan before spud and enabling continuous tracking during operations. It allows users to update timelogs by adjusting planned and actual activities, durations, depths, and costs, while dynamically adapting upcoming operations based on field conditions. The system also supports the use of operational resources such as procedures, lessons learned, and reports, and improves forecasting of equipment and service needs for logistics and maintenance planning. Overall, it continuously updates the remaining well plan into a daily operational forecast throughout drilling activities.
ID3 Forecast is designed to support drilling well planning by using offset well data and key operational parameters. By integrating information such as phase durations, drilling parameters, bit performance, and non-productive time (NPT) analysis, it enables users to estimate well duration and anticipate potential NPT events. This helps improve planning accuracy, operational efficiency, and risk management.
